Titania is a key character in Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’, where she is the Queen of the fairies, given by the violin in the piece. The fierce and fast passages show her highly energetic and prominent role, while the cello stands for her husband and king, Oberon, with a stable and strong character. The whole work is embraced by orchestral elements and in conjunction to the dance acts correspond to the actual story.
